How to get to Castelfiorentino

By car

Castelfiorentino is less than 10 minutes by car from the Empoli Centro connection of the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway, from which the A1/E35, A11 and E80 motorway can be reached.

For those arriving from the north

From the Autostrada del Sole (A1) exit at the Firenze-Scandicci tollbooth and take the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno highway (SGC) after a short connection. Take the Empoli Centro exit, then take the Val D'Elsa 429bis regional road in the direction of Castelfiorentino.

Arriving from the south

From the Siena/Florence highway, take the Poggibonsi Nord exit and follow the Val D'Elsa 429 regional road in the direction of Castelfiorentino.

From the A1 highway exit at Firenze-Scandicci and then follow the same directions as above for those coming from the north.

By plane

It is possible to land at the two main airports in Tuscany, the Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence and the Galileo Galilei International Airport in Pisa.

By train

There is a direct connection both to/from Siena station and to/from Florence Santa Maria Novella and Florence Rifredi stations.

From/to the Pisa-Livorno line it is necessary to change at the Empoli station.

By bus
